Pepa Martínez was born in Alicante on 20 February of 1970. She discovered her artistic vocation from childhood and studied drawing and painting with the painter and teacher from Alicante, José Bélmar, where she perfected the art of pastels for four years.

From 1992, her professional career is selftaught, looking for other techniques and styles, until she arrived to the contemporary abstract expressionism, in which today her work is oriented.

Feelings, emotions and consiousness are merged in a symbiosis, which artistically, expresses through her paintings. She has the great ability to express her feelings and show them to the world.
